Cathy Burkard
Project Coordinator
Cathy graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design, in Providence, RI. Upon graduating, Cathy spent several years designing high-end residential and commercial projects in Westchester and Fairfield Counties. This experience allowed her to work directly with numerous contractors and commercial developers as well as provided essential insight into the importance of building strong relationships between the Architect and Contractor. Most of her career has been spent working for firms specializing in retail store design across the country and worldwide. Her work was essential to developing the retail branding of companies like Melville, Ralph Lauren, Federated Stores, and Bloomingdales. Locally, Cathy worked with the Village of Briarcliff Manor, where she was the Interior Architect for the Briarcliff Manor Library. Cathy brings to RDstudio a strong skillset in project management for both residential and commercial projects alike.
In her free time, Cathy enjoys biking the trails of Westchester and continues to perfect her creative passion for quilting. More than anything else, she and her husband along with her children Hunter and Georgia, travel as much as possible to explore exciting destinations here and abroad.
